Recieved training and experience in manual and automation testing as part of the software development cycle. Technologies learnt were: Selenium Webdriver, Sikuli, Appium and DVT's own framework. Learned about the importance and benefits of early testing, how testing fits into the Software development Life Cycle, some common root causes for failiures and bugs, and how to distinguish between the different types of errors. I also learnt how to write script-driven tests using CSV's. I also increased my overall competency in Java. For self-learning, I learnt about test-driven development using JUnit and Mockito. Also read Code Complete by Steve McConnell.

As part of professional development, we had the opportunity to use online resources such as MOOCs, were taught Design Thinking and made use of resources for personal reflection, such as DISC profiles and SMART goal setting. Taking part in this program has empowered me to learn about my strengths and taught me solid work-environment skills. Languages: HTML, CSS, SASS, jQuery, JavaScript, Node and MongoDB
Completed a Fullstack Web development course, but technically just learnt a lot of Java SE and programming concepts. a Also acquired Oracle Certification in Java SE 7
